Intern - Commercial Financial Analyst

Develops, interprets and implements revenue and cost levels of estimates for pricing opportunities. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance related to the pricing model. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for the pricing model and expected results. Performs research and studies in the areas of pricing trends, reasons for wins and losses, and actual results versus the pro forma pricing model.

Internship Details:
- The internship will begin January 11, 2027.
- This internship is based in our Conway, Arkansas office, and interns are expected to work onsite.
- Interns will work approximately 20–25 hours per week during the school year, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.
- Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or December 2027.

As a Pricing & Commercial Finance Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the financial analysis and pricing activities that help shape business decisions and drive revenue growth. 

 

About the Role 

We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented student who is interested in building a career in corporate finance, commercial finance, pricing, or business analytics. 

In this role, you will support the Pricing and Commercial Finance team by assisting with financial analysis, pricing models, research, and reporting. You'll gain exposure to how companies evaluate business opportunities, develop pricing strategies, and balance revenue growth with profitability. 

This internship is ideal for students who enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, analyzing data, and translating insights into business recommendations. 

 

What You'll Do 

• Assist in developing and maintaining pricing models for business opportunities 

• Support revenue, cost, and profitability analyses for prospective and existing client engagements 

• Research pricing trends, competitive market information, and industry benchmarks 

• Help evaluate actual business results against forecasts and assumptions 

• Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Strategy teams on pricing-related projects 

• Support preparation of reports, presentations, and recommendations for business stakeholders 

• Analyze data and identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks 

• Assist with process improvement and automation initiatives 

• Learn how commercial and financial decisions influence business performance 

 

What We're Looking For - Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: 

• Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Related field 

• Strong academic performance 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines 

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills 

• Preferred Qualifications 

• Coursework in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or business analytics 

• Experience working with large datasets, financial models, or analytical projects 

• Familiarity with Excel functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools 

• Interest in pricing strategy, commercial finance, FP&A, or business analytics
