Terms of Service

By accessing or using LANDTHATROLE ("the Platform"), operated by 2669425 AB Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and 2669425 AB Inc., governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.

LANDTHATROLE is Canada's first ATS-native job board. We aggregate verified job listings sourced directly from employer Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), providing job seekers with ghost-free, salary-transparent Canadian job opportunities.

Our services include:

• Job search and browse functionality
• AI-powered career tools (Resume Checker, Cover Letter Generator, Interview Prep)
• Canadian Tax Calculator
• Application Tracker
• Pro membership with enhanced features
• Referral program

You must be at least 16 years of age to use LANDTHATROLE. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Platform is intended for use by individuals seeking employment in Canada and employers with Canadian job openings.

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Free Tier

Free users may browse all job listings, use AI tools up to 3 times per day, and save up to 10 jobs. Free access is provided as-is with no guaranteed uptime or service level.

Pro Membership

Pro membership is available at $10.99 CAD/month or $7.49 CAD/month (billed annually). Pro members receive:

• Unlimited AI tool usage
• Early access to new job listings
• Advanced resume analysis and salary benchmarks
• Priority job alerts
• Unlimited saved jobs and application tracking

Billing & Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if you have not used Pro features
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe

How It Works

LANDTHATROLE operates a referral program that rewards members who bring new Pro subscribers to the platform.

• Share your unique referral link with friends, colleagues, or your network
• When a referred person signs up and purchases a Pro membership, you receive 2 months of Pro membership free
• Referred users must be new to LANDTHATROLE (no existing account)
• The referred user must maintain an active paid Pro subscription for at least 30 days before the reward is credited
• Rewards are credited to your account automatically within 7 business days of qualification

Referral Program Rules

• Self-referrals (referring yourself using multiple accounts) are prohibited and will result in account termination
• Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time with 30 days notice
• Fraudulent referral activity will result in forfeiture of all rewards and account suspension
• There is no cap on the number of valid referrals you can make

LANDTHATROLE aggregates job listings from publicly available employer ATS platforms. We make reasonable efforts to ensure listings are current and accurate, however:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing
• We are not responsible for the content of employer job postings
• Job availability may change after listing — always verify directly with the employer
• We are not a party to any employment relationship between job seekers and employers

Our AI-powered tools (Resume Checker, Cover Letter Generator, Interview Prep) are provided for informational and career assistance purposes only. Results are generated algorithmically and should not be relied upon as professional career advice. We do not guarantee employment outcomes from use of these tools.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download job listings or platform data
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with the operation of the Platform or other users' experience
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit forms
• Violate any applicable Canadian federal or provincial law

All content on LANDTHATROLE — including the brand name, wordmark, design, code, copy, and AI tool outputs — is owned by 2669425 AB Inc. or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., your resume). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process and display it solely to provide the service.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY ALBERTA LAW, 2669425 AB Inc. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at legal@landthatrole.ca — we resolve most issues within 5 business days.

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users with 14 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
