LANDTHATROLE is operated by 2669425 AB Inc., a corporation registered in Alberta, Canada. We run Canada's first ATS-native, ghost-free job board at landthatrole.ca.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your resume or profile with employers without your explicit action.

LANDTHATROLE aggregates job listings from publicly available Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) operated by employers. These job listings contain only information that employers have made publicly available through their own career portals. We do not collect, store, or process personal data from employers or their candidates.

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function (login sessions, preferences)
• Analytics cookies: Understand how visitors use the site (we use privacy-respecting analytics)
• Preference cookies: Remember your settings (e.g., saved searches, city preferences)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

We share personal information only in these circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted vendors (email delivery via Resend, payments via Stripe, hosting via Vercel) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements

• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with appropriate privacy protections

All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may retain certain data for up to 7 years where required by Canadian tax or corporate law.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, regular security reviews, and access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

LANDTHATROLE is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at privacy@landthatrole.ca.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
