Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting full life cycle analysis on workflow and data to contribute to long-term company growth. You will work heavily with our proprietary software, as well as third party applications. You will monitor performance and quality control plans to identify efficiencies and areas for improvement. 

Responsibilities: 

• Clean, validate, and maintain data across databases so it's accurate and reliable
• Use Tableau, SQL, Excel, and other analysis tools to aggregate data, compile statistics, build models, and create visualizations
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets to improve reporting accuracy and business performance
• Give managers across departments insights and actionable data that help them make informed business decisions
• Create detailed, story-driven reports that turn complex data into clear takeaways and recommendations for management
• Work with upper management to prioritize new strategic initiatives
• Find and define new process improvement opportunities
• Help automate workflows across departments by analyzing current processes, finding areas to improve, and recommending and building automated solutions 

What we look for: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in an analytical role using Tableau and SQL (or similar tools)
• Proficient knowledge of Excel
• Experience working with relational databases
• Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain data to non-technical audiences
• Tableau proficiency
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
• Experience coding with Python or R preferred
• Experience creating predictive models preferred
