About the role

Contract type: 1099 contract

Overview: State of Michigan engagement staffed through Stafford Gray. The client needs a senior ServiceNow resource to own platform level architecture decisions, not just module configuration.

Responsibilities

  • Own platform architecture: data model, integrations, security, scalability
  • Guide implementation across modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM as applicable) and set platform standards
  • Lead technical design reviews and governance
  • Oversee integrations with other state systems (REST/SOAP, MID server, SSO/LDAP)
  • Mentor technical consultants and developers on the platform team
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable architecture

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Significant ServiceNow experience at an architecture level, not just configuration
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
  • Experience across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM)
  • Integration experience: REST/SOAP, SSO/LDAP, MID server

Preferred Qualifications

  • State or local government client experience
  • CTA credential
