Your Mission

Nuvei is looking for an Oracle Cloud Developer to join the UFS Reimagined program within the Finance organization. The program is delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM across the Nuvei finance landscape in two waves, alongside a systems integrator and a number of specialist 3rd party partners for solutions implemented in parallel. This role sits on the Nuvei side of that program and builds, tests, and supports the Oracle technical objects the finance ecosystem runs on.

The person in this role is hands-on. They will review and build integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud, develop reports, extracts, and extensions, prepare test data and execute the technical test cycles, investigate defects alongside the systems integrator and the peripheral system teams, and produce the documentation and runbooks that the support model depends on. Where an object needs to be built, proven, and handed over, this person does it.

The role reports to the Director, Oracle Solutions, works day to day with the Oracle Cloud Technical Architect, and collaborates closely with functional business process leads, the systems integrator's technical team, Nuvei's information security and enterprise architecture teams, and the incoming application managed support partner. The role continues beyond go-live as part of the in-house technical capability retained within Nuvei.

This role will suit someone with five or more years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud technical experience who has been through at least one full implementation lifecycle, from requirements through cutover and hypercare, and who is comfortable owning technical objects in a program with fixed phase gates.

Responsibilities

The role covers four areas. The balance of work shifts across the program, moving from specification review and build, through the test cycles and cutover at each wave, into support, defect resolution, and documentation once the ecosystem is live.

Integration Build and Oracle Integration Cloud

•         Review interface specifications, payloads, APIs, file formats, mappings, transformations, validations, and orchestration steps produced by the systems integrator, and mark up what does not hold.

•         Configure or develop the approved Oracle Integration Cloud components, reusable routines, validation rules, error messages, and exception-handling logic assigned to Nuvei.

•         Work fluently with Oracle Fusion Cloud integration surfaces, including REST and SOAP web services, the ERP Integration Service, file-based data import, and business events.

•         Apply the agreed coding, naming, version control, security, logging, and deployment standards to every integration component, and correct anything that does not comply.

•         Support the Oracle Integration Cloud posting path from the business rules platform on Azure and Snowflake into the Oracle general ledger, including file-based data import and reconciliation evidence.

•         Confirm build estimates, technical dependencies, reusable components, and development sequencing with the architect before construction starts.

Reporting, Extensions, and Fusion Technical Build

•         Develop and support reporting and extract objects using BI Publisher and OTBI, including the reports and extracts that feed downstream systems and the finance close.

•         Build Fusion Cloud extensions and personalizations where a functional configuration cannot meet the requirement, and keep them upgrade-safe through the quarterly update cycle.

•         Configure and maintain the technical elements of Fusion security, including role design support, data access sets, and segregation of duties.

•         Write and maintain SQL and PL/SQL for data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting across the Oracle ecosystem.

•         Implement integration security correctly, including OAuth and certificate-based authentication, service accounts, key and wallet management, and credential handling.

•         Maintain the technical design documentation for every object built or amended, at a standard that survives handover to the support partner.

Testing, Deployment, and Defect Resolution

•         Prepare representative test data and scripts covering normal processing, negative paths, duplicate transactions, retries, recovery, security, volume, and reconciliation scenarios.

•         Execute unit, system integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and recovery testing across Oracle Fusion Cloud and each connected peripheral system.

•         Reconcile test results back to source and target records, evidence the agreed data-quality thresholds, and obtain acceptance from the relevant business data owners.

•         Investigate defects with the systems integrator and the source-system teams, implement fixes, complete retesting, and close issues only when the supporting evidence is complete.

•         Support production deployment and cutover, including load sequencing, smoke testing, initial monitoring, and the stabilization period that follows each wave.

•         Move configuration and technical objects between environments, including Functional Setup Manager exports, integration artefacts, reports, and security definitions.

Post Go-Live Support, Runbooks, and Knowledge Transition

•         Produce and maintain code documentation, deployment instructions, operating procedures, troubleshooting guidance, and support runbooks for every object in the retained ecosystem.

•         Take part in the knowledge transition from the systems integrator and support the onboarding of the application managed support partner.

•         Provide the in-house technical support that sits alongside the partner-delivered service, covering the integration and infrastructure scope retained by Nuvei.

•         Build and maintain the technical monitoring, alerting, error queues, and replay mechanisms that the proactive operations monitoring model relies on.

•         Be actively available through hypercare, month-end close, and year-end, when support demand and business impact are both at their highest.

Requirements

•         Five or more years of hands-on technical experience on Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including at least one full implementation lifecycle through cutover and hypercare.

•         Strong, current, hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud development experience covering orchestrations, adapters, mappings, fault handling, and scheduling.

•         Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud web services and integration patterns, including REST and SOAP APIs, the ERP Integration Service, file-based data import, and business events.

•         Report development experience with BI Publisher and OTBI, including data model design and performance tuning of high-volume extracts.

•         Strong SQL and PL/SQL, together with scripting in Python, shell, or an equivalent language for data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.

•         Experience building Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions and personalizations that remain upgrade-safe across the quarterly update cycle.

•         Practical experience of integration security, including OAuth and certificate-based authentication, service accounts, and credential and wallet management.

•         Demonstrated testing discipline across unit, system integration, regression, negative-path, and recovery scenarios, with evidence retained to a standard that stands up to audit.

•         Able to write clear technical design documentation and support runbooks, and to review specifications produced by partner and vendor teams.

•         Comfortable working in a program environment with a systems integrator, multiple partners, and fixed phase gates.

•         Clear and direct communicator, able to work effectively with functional leads, business stakeholders, and technical counterparts in other organizations.

•         Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Assets

•         Experience across the Oracle Fusion Cloud financials footprint, particularly General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Projects.

•         Experience building Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversions using FBDI, HDL, and related load methods.

•         Experience with high-volume transactional integration in a payments, fintech, or financial services environment.

•         Exposure to Oracle EPM Cloud and its integration with Fusion ERP through Data Management or Data Integration.

•         Oracle certification in Integration Cloud, Cloud Infrastructure, or Fusion Financials.

•         Experience supporting a newly implemented ecosystem inside a managed support or AMS model, including hypercare and month-end close support.

•         Working knowledge of DevOps practice for cloud integration, including source control, automated deployment, and release governance.
