The (USA) Staff, Software Engineer plays a critical role in delivering scalable platform capabilities and driving the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The role requires expertise in cloud-native architectures, AI/ML integration, and software design patterns to build resilient, modular solutions. What you'll do:

• Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
• Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
• Lead system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
• Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and automation features.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics.
• Continuously improve processes, tools, and products through innovation and feedback integration.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
• Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle ownership, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
• Skilled in JavaScript and related frameworks such as React JSX, Redux-Saga, and React Native for front-end and mobile application development.
• Ability to lead design reviews and apply data-driven decision making to optimize engineering outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability in DevOps engineering and remedial action to enhance platform reliability and developer productivity.

Sunnyvale, California US-11656: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
