Role summary:As a Staff Product Manager, you will lead strategy and execution for complex products, driving end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization. This role requires deep customer and technical insight, strong stakeholder leadership, and ownership of multi-quarter product vision and roadmaps. You will influence cross-functional teams, leverage data-driven decision-making, and identify innovation opportunities to enhance product impact. Acting as a recognized authority, you will mentor peers and elevate product management practices while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and delivering measurable value.

The Global Data Platforms team collaborates with markets worldwide to develop innovative data products that drive business value. This team leads product strategy and execution across complex, interconnected offerings, ensuring alignment with market needs and emerging technologies. Members work closely with cross-functional partners to manage product lifecycles, prioritize data-driven decisions, and deliver scalable solutions. The team fosters a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging advanced analytics and stakeholder engagement to shape product direction. It serves as a key driver in advancing Walmart’s data capabilities and delivering impactful outcomes on a global scale.
What you'll do:
- Define and execute multi-quarter product vision and strategy for complex or related products, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver value from discovery through launch and scaling.
- Build deep customer and market insights using data analysis, design thinking, and feedback mechanisms to prioritize product initiatives.
- Drive data-driven decision making through experimentation, telemetry, and performance measurement to optimize product outcomes.
- Influence technical direction by collaborating with Engineering on architecture, feasibility, and innovation opportunities.
- Mentor product managers, promoting rigorous discovery, roadmap development, and launch readiness.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and successful go-to-market execution.

- Ability to translate customer and business insights into prioritized, measurable outcomes.
- Skilled in developing product roadmaps aligned with business strategies and market trends.
- Experience mentoring product managers and elevating product management discipline.

Sunnyvale, California US-04397: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
