We develop enterprise-scale machine learning systems integral to every Walmart customer transaction, focusing on extracting and processing product attributes that ensure accurate taxation across all sales channels. What you'll do:

• Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains, ensuring data quality and fitness for purpose.
• Develop, test, and deploy advanced analytical models using Python to solve complex business problems.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to enhance model accuracy and robustness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
• Create clear, impactful data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior team members on modeling techniques and best practices.
• Support scalability and sustainability of deployed models in production environments.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytical modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Python programming, SQL, and data engineering practices.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and best practices to communicate complex insights effectively.
• Expertise in data quality assessment, data source identification, and data strategy implementation.
• Ability to develop, test, validate, and deploy scalable analytical models in production environments.
• Solid understanding of business domains and ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior associates and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Option 2- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field. Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
