The Global Data Platforms team drives product strategy and execution for complex data solutions that support business growth worldwide. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team manages product lifecycles, prioritizes data-driven decisions, and delivers scalable innovations aligned with market needs and emerging technologies. By leveraging advanced analytics and stakeholder engagement, the team continuously refines product direction and fosters operational excellence. This group plays a critical role in enhancing Walmart’s data capabilities, shaping impactful outcomes, and advancing strategic initiatives on a global scale.
What you'll do:
- Shape and drive product strategy across multiple related products, leveraging deep domain expertise and data-driven insights.
- Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions, guiding MVP creation, launch execution, and long-term product evolution.
- Establish and promote best practices in product management, elevating standards across peers and teams.
- Utilize advanced analytics and experimentation to validate assumptions and optimize product decisions.
- Influence senior leadership through compelling narratives grounded in customer insights and market trends.
- Mentor product managers and contribute to organizational capability building.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in product strategy and roadmap management across multiple related products.
- Proven ability to lead complex product lifecycle initiatives with strategic alignment and resource prioritization.
- Strong expertise in data-driven decision making, leveraging analytics and experimentation to optimize outcomes.
- Demonstrated skill in stakeholder management and cross-functional influence at the enterprise level.
- Deep understanding of customer needs through design thinking, journey mapping, and process analysis.
- Ability to define and communicate compelling product vision grounded in market and competitive insights.
- Leadership experience mentoring product managers and promoting best practices within product teams.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application to product innovation and process optimization.
