Web Implementation Specialist

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate, proactive, and resourceful Web Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic team. We take our projects and our clients very seriously, but not ourselves. We value a strong work ethic, creativity, professionalism, and top quality work.

You’ll be tasked with managing all aspects of external and internal stakeholder engagement in projects from beginning to end, working closely with teams of design, development and client support. You will lead and manage clients through each stage of the process involved in building and launching interactive websites, modules, and mobile applications. The key to success in this role is determined by your confident and competent leadership and how easily you demonstrate exemplary timeline management skills, task coordination, accountability, benchmark setting, metric measurement, pride in your achievements, quality assurance, and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through all stages of a project’s lifecycle; kick-off, requirement definition, site architecture, site configuration, design, content publishing, quality control testing, training, launch, and ongoing management.
• Proactive and able to multi-task multiple projects and clients
• Fully understand, and able to clarify, project goals and objectives
• Facilitate and direct all client meetings and interactions related to the implementation of the project
• Appropriately set and manage client expectations of project tasks, critical sign-off stages, and milestone schedules
• Coordinate the involvement of cross-functional teams (design, and technical services) as needed to meet project objectives
• Establish and drive project timeline and deliverable schedules, ensuring compliance and accountability by an internal team
• Record, track and manage projects through the use of web-based project management software
• Prepare and distribute timely project status reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Construct intuitive sitemap architecture that supports client objectives and facilitates easy accessibility and use by site visitors
• Perform rigorous site review and quality assurance testing prior to site launch to ensure the highest quality appearance, completeness, and functional operation

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of previous experience managing interactive/web projects
• Establishes and maintains two-way communication to give clear direction and set well-planned and organized objectives appropriately.
• Independent self-starter; able and eager to dig into a deep software application, and become technically proficient and intimately familiar with its full functionality
• Technically savvy with proficient experience in HTML and at least some experience in CSS/JavaScript
• Strong organizational skills: uses resources effectively and efficiently arranges information and files in a useful manner.
• Strong planning and scoping skills. Able to measure performance and evaluate results.
• Strong priority setting in order to eliminate roadblocks and create focus.
• Capable of creating processes to create resource efficiency and manage through systems.
• Is able to write/orate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles - specifically related to web development projects.
• Proven attention-to-detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere utilizing strong organizational skills
• Comfortable in a customer-facing role (have a strong customer-service orientation) and possess a professional and courteous disposition and demeanor
• Demonstrated experience in working effectively in a highly collaborative team setting
• Strong knowledge of content publishing and/or CMS
• Strong familiarity with web information architecture standards (e.g. sitemaps, navigation structure, content layout/presentation, etc.)
• Strong familiarity with best practices in website development, including design and usability
• Demonstrated experience in creative problem-solving and client relationship management
• Knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office applications
