NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding Graphics System Software Engineer to expand the AI for Experiences team. As a team member, you will work with dedicated graphics software engineers from a diverse set of backgrounds. These include gaming, deep learning, application and system development, and hardware invention. The team is distributed worldwide.


What you'll be doing:

As a member of this team, we develop advanced graphics and deep learning technologies that bring real-time AI to gamers and creators. We collaborate with industry leaders to build new APIs and systems. After that, we implement these across various GPU generations and operating systems. Design, develop, and maintain robust user-mode driver and platform code that serves as the foundation for key NVIDIA graphics technologies. Maneuver through an intricate development architecture, guaranteeing robust backward and forward compatibility across diverse GPU architectures, operating systems, and driver releases. Additionally, you will support the design, development, and validation of our next generation of graphics processors from design to store shelves.


What we need to see:

  • Hold a B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience writing robust and well maintained C++.
  • 5+ years of experience working on platform, driver, or SDK development.
  • Solid background in algorithms, data structures, and computer architecture and working experience with DirectX 12, Vulkan, or other rendering APIs

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Working experience in Windows or Linux User Mode Drivers
  • Experience with Game Development on Console, Desktop, or Mobile environments
  • Familiarity with the latest security methodologies for writing secure code
  • A strong standout colleague; self-motivated with great interpersonal skills
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
