Qualification Requirements:

• Graduate level engineering student
• Solid knowledge of climate data, climate modelling and applications for engineering problems, comfortable with Python and Matlab

 

Required duties:

• Preprocessing of climate data from global and regional climate models, relevant for the engineering case studies that will be included in the assignments and term project
• Developing matlab/python scripts for extraction of relevant data from climate model output repositories
• Answer students’ questions related to the analysis of climate model outputs and related coding, and/or engineering adaptation tools
