Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Systems Engineering is seeking an IVV Lead Senior Principal Systems Engineer- Integration and Test Lead with a passion for innovation and the drive to see new technology and capability matured into fielded solutions. The Integration and Test lead is a leader who is responsible for ensuring the successful verification and validation for a high-profile product line. This role will contribute to a team responsible for systems integration verification and validation of a next gen optical system.

 

What You Will Do

• IV&V lead within the System Test & Eval IPTL

• Experienced in leading/directing engineers in the test design, procedure creation, and execution

• Perform analysis, architecture, and design, primarily focusing on the Integration and Testing phases of systems development

• Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation for Integration and Test

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total system solutions

• Lead Test Readiness Reviews with Customer and Certification Agencies

• Collaborate with Systems Architects, Product Owners, Chief Engineers, to generate Integration and Test Environments and Plans

• Lead Verification, Validation, and Qualification efforts in both Unclassified and Classified environments

• Conduct tests on optical and electrical components and integrated systems, collect test data, and analyze results to optimize performance.

• Identify and resolve issues during testing, support system design enhancements, and provide troubleshooting and calibration for ongoing and specialized programs.

• Mentor junior engineers on Integration, Validation, Verification, and Qualification

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, integration, and verification/validation

• Experience with system software, system hardware, system requirements, and/or test

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

 

Qualifications We Prefer

• Active Secret Clearance

• Background in developing EO/IR tracking solutions and conducting system-level testing

• Knowledge of algorithm design for EO/IR detection, tracking, and target characterization with lab and field validation

• Work in integration labs, test facilities, or field environments supporting system integration and verification

• Ability to present analytical and technical information to leadership and customers

• Agile systems engineering practices

• Automated software build, test, and deployment processes

• Generate integration and test plans for embedded systems and digital hardware

• DOORS, CAMEO, or similar

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
