Job Description

Role Summary

Own the supply chain solution architecture end to end — from requirements through design, build, test, cutover and hypercare — across procurement, inventory and warehouse management on SAP S/4HANA, including large-scale EWM deployments, Ariba and third-party procurement integration, and BTP/AI-enabled clean-core extensions.

 

Key Responsibilities

•   Act as the accountable supply chain architect from requirements gathering through design, build, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare — single owner of the solution across the lifecycle.

•   Own the MM, WM and EWM solution design: procurement, inventory management, valuation, MRP, subcontracting, consignment, batch/serial management and physical inventory.

•   Architect large-scale EWM deployments — warehouse structure, storage types and bins, put away/removal strategies, wave and labour management, slotting, replenishment, packing, yard and value-added services.

•   Design RF/handheld and mobile execution: IT mobile / RF framework screens, barcode and scanner workflows, label printing, voice picking, and material flow / automation (MFS) interfaces to conveyors, ASRS and sortation where in scope.

•   Lead integration with SAP Ariba and other direct and indirect procurement portals — Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, SLP/supplier onboarding, catalogue/punch-out, cXML and invoice/PO flows via Integration Suite.

•   Define BTP usage to enable clean core — side-by-side extensions, Integration Suite, Build Process Automation and event-driven integration in place of core modifications.

•   Apply AI in the solution: demand and inventory intelligence, document/invoice extraction, exception handling, Joule-assisted warehouse and buyer workflows, and predictive slotting or labour forecasting.

•   Own the enterprise structure and master data model — plants, storage locations, warehouses, MRP areas, material, source lists, info records, purchasing org and vendor/business partner design.

•   Architect integration to finance (inventory valuation, GR/IR, costing), SD, PP, QM, TM/carriers, EDI, 3PL, MES and WMS/labour systems; own the interface catalogue.

•   Define the supply chain data migration and cutover approach — inventory, open POs/SOs, in-transit and bin-level stock — with reconciliation controls and warehouse go-live sequencing.

•   Run fit-to-standard workshops with procurement, plant, warehouse and logistics leadership; chair the design authority and approve specs, RICEFW and change requests.

•   Drive warehouse operational readiness — user training, device rollout, cutover counts, ramp-up plan and hypercare support model.

• Experience: Relevant years SAP supply chain (ECC and S/4HANA), with lead ownership across MM, WM and EWM on global programs

 

Required Qualifications

•  Relevant years SAP supply chain experience with lead responsibility across MM, WM and EWM on global S/4HANA implementations.

•   Strong SAP ECC MM/WM background — able to lead ECC enhancement, support and rollout projects alongside S/4HANA transformations.

•   Hands-on delivery of EWM for large-scale, high-volume warehouses including RF/handheld device enablement and warehouse automation interfaces.

•   Proven integration experience with SAP Ariba and other direct/indirect procurement portals and supplier networks.

•   Hands-on SAP BTP experience and demonstrated application of AI within the supply chain solution — both mandatory.

•   Strong grasp of S/4HANA supply chain simplifications, embedded vs. decentralized EWM, Advanced ATP and the MM-IM data model.

•   Excellent stakeholder and workshop facilitation skills across operations, procurement and IT leadership; bachelor’s in engineering, Supply Chain or CS.

 

Preferred

•   SAP EWM / S/4HANA Supply Chain and BTP certifications; SAP Activate methodology; APICS CPIM or CSCP.

•   SAP IBP, TM, Business Network or Fiori/CDS extensibility experience; RISE with SAP delivery exposure.

•   Industry depth in discrete manufacturing and heavy equipment.

80,000 to 100,000 USD
