The Opportunity

We are seeking a curious, innovative, and forward-thinking Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our high-performing Earnix Team. The Earnix Team sits at the intersection of insurance, technology, and analytics, helping Aviva deliver better pricing solutions through innovation, automation, and continuous improvement. We enable the business to implement pricing changes faster, smarter, and with greater confidence.

In this role, you will help shape the future of pricing at Aviva. Working alongside Pricing, Data Science, and IT teams, you will evaluate emerging technologies, pilot new capabilities, and deliver solutions that create meaningful business impact.

From Demand Models and Price Optimization to automation and advanced analytics, you will play a key role in modernizing pricing processes and enabling some of Aviva's most strategic transformation initiatives. You will help bring innovative ideas from concept to implementation, unlocking new capabilities that improve pricing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and user experience.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with the Senior Actuarial Manager and key stakeholders to evaluate and implement innovative Earnix capabilities, applying actuarial, analytical, and technical expertise to improve pricing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• Support platform innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance pricing processes through automation, workflow optimization, advanced analytics, and emerging Earnix functionality.
• Research, assess, and pilot new Earnix features and capabilities, providing recommendations and implementation plans that support evolving business needs and pricing objectives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Demand Models, Price Optimization, and other advanced Earnix capabilities, supporting solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, and user adoption.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for innovation initiatives, technical solutions, and platform capabilities to support knowledge sharing, consistency, and scalability.
• Provide coaching and knowledge-sharing support to team members and users, helping to build organizational capability in advanced Earnix functionality and emerging pricing techniques.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of P&C actuarial experience.
• Completion of 4+ CAS exams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in programming (Python) and data manipulation tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations to manager and project leaders
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll get:

• The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
