What You’ll Be Contributing:

• Lead the planning, design, implementation, and delivery of physical security systems for new hyperscale and AI data center developments.
• Coordinate with security vendors, consultants, and system integrators throughout the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Oversee the implementation of physical security solutions, including:
  • CCTV and Video Management Systems (VMS)
  • Access Control and Biometric Systems
  • Visitor Management Systems
  • Perimeter Fencing, Vehicle Barriers, and Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS)
  • Gate Controls and Security Monitoring Systems
• Ensure effective integration of physical security systems with building, network, and operational infrastructure.
• Review technical documentation, including design packages, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and commissioning reports.
• Conduct site inspections, participate in testing and commissioning activities, and support the transition of security systems to operations teams.
• Ensure security solutions meet customer requirements, applicable standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

• An essential component of this position is regular and consistent business travel, mainly to the United States. It is a requirement of this position that the candidate satisfy the applicable criteria set by the US Immigration and Nationality Act for business travel to the United States, which criteria include, for example, the ability to demonstrate that they are a citizen or national of a country that is eligible for the Visa Waiver Program or are otherwise visa exempt.

What Sets You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Security Management, Construction Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in physical security system design, implementation, or project delivery.
• Experience delivering physical security solutions for data centers, mission-critical facilities, telecommunications, industrial facilities, or other critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control, video surveillance, perimeter protection, and security monitoring systems.
• Experience coordinating security integrators, consultants, contractors, and technology vendors.
• Good understanding of construction project delivery, technical documentation, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate customer security requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, operations, and security functions.
• Experience with hyperscale or AI data centers, Security Operations Centers (SOC), and supporting network infrastructure is considered an asset.
• Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, or equivalent are considered an asset.
• Ability to travel occasionally to project sites, as required.
