EPL Branch Manager - Woodcroft

If so, consider joining the Edmonton Public Library! We are seeking an enthusiastic branch manager to serve at the Woodcroft branch.

Using your superb organizational and leadership skills, you will manage the Woodcroft Branch, ensuring that the facility, collections, and services best meet the needs of the community. As the manager, you are accountable for 30 full-time and part-time positions. Familiar with library service trends and technologies, you foster a learning environment and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You are committed to upholding the Canadian Federation of Library Associations position statements on Intellectual Freedom and Diversity and Inclusion. Working as a member of a system-wide team environment, you will make a real difference in people's lives every day.

• Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA accredited library school and a minimum of 2 years professional library experience and 3 years of supervisory or directly related experience.
• Note: Equivalencies will be considered for those with a relevant undergraduate degree, at least 7 years of related management experience, and a commitment to complete a Master of Library Information Studies degree (within 5 years). 
• Satisfactory background screening is required for this position, which includes a Criminal Record Check/Police Information Check.

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Salary:
$112,782 - $140,974 per annum
