About the role

Job Description

The Opportunity:

The Master Data Management Analyst will be part of the Global Supply Chain Master Data Management team and will report to the Manager, Master Data Management. This role is responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation, and ongoing quality of product and item master data supporting Supply Chain and the broader organization. The Analyst will partner with cross functional business and technology teams to resolve data issues, support business requirements, and ensure adherence to established data standards, controls, and processes. The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to continuous process improvement, data governance, and enterprise transformation initiatives while developing a broad understanding of how master data supports end-to-end business processes.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Perform standard item setup, maintenance, bulk uploads, and other master data activities across applicable business systems.

• Ensure master data is accurate, complete, consistent, and maintained in accordance with established business rules, controls, governance standards, and operating procedures.

• Serve as a point of contact for master data requests and issues from cross functional teams including Planning, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, GTO, Quality, and Finance.

• Investigate and troubleshoot master data issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with appropriate business and technology partners through resolution.

• Perform ongoing data quality reviews, audits, validations, and integrity checks and communicate findings and corrective actions as needed.

• Document business processes, data requirements, business rules, and standard operating procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve master data processes, reduce manual effort, eliminate rework, and improve overall data quality.

• Support system enhancements, testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation activities related to master data.

• Support customer, market, regulatory, and industry data requirements, including applicable product identification and data standards.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in Master Data Management, product data, Supply Chain, ERP, or a related business environment.

• Experience creating, maintaining, validating, or governing master data within ERP, PLM, PIM, MDM, or similar enterprise systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive issues through resolution.

• Ability to document functional requirements, business rules, process flows, and operating procedures.

• Strong understanding of data quality and data governance principles.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with large data sets.

• Ability to understand detailed data requirements while maintaining awareness of broader business objectives and downstream impacts.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.

• Proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

• Strong command of the English language, written and verbal, is required.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple functions, markets, and regions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle, PLM, Product Information Management, or Master Data Management platforms.

• Familiarity with GS1 standards, GTIN/UPC management, GDSN, retailer data requirements, or other product data standards.

• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other data analysis and reporting tools.

• Experience supporting global Supply Chain, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or ecommerce environments.

The pay range for this position is $71,000 - 88,000 per year.
