This position supports customers throughout the assigned service territory in Southwest Colorado, Southeast Utah, and the Navajo Nation, giving you the opportunity to handle service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostic work while continuing to strengthen your technical knowledge across residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems

• Perform preventive HVAC maintenance, equipment tune ups, and system inspections

• Complete heating and cooling system start ups and shut downs

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using industry standard HVAC diagnostic procedures

• Communicate service findings and recommended repairs clearly with customers

• Document completed service work, parts used, and time spent on each call accurately

• Follow company safety procedures and EPA refrigerant handling regulations

• Keep your service vehicle and work area organized

• Coordinate with dispatch and office staff to complete scheduled HVAC service calls efficiently

• Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service territory in Southwest Colorado, Southeast Utah, and the Navajo Nation

Required

• At least 2 years of hands on HVAC service experience diagnosing and repairing residential and or light commercial HVAC systems

• EPA Certification

• Strong HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment tune ups, and component replacement

• Working knowledge of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment specifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift and carry equipment, safely operate hand and power tools, and work in varying weather conditions

• Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned service area

Preferred

• Completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship preferred
