The Perfect Light is looking for an experienced Electrician who can handle residential service work, troubleshoot electrical issues, and provide homeowners with dependable solutions. Your New Role

As an Electrician with The Perfect Light, you'll handle residential service calls throughout the Houston area. Your work will include troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and electrical upgrades while following NEC requirements, local codes, and company safety standards.

• Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues involving panels, wiring, outlets, breakers, circuits, and lighting

• Install electrical components and complete residential upgrades

• Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine safe, code-compliant solutions

• Explain findings and service options clearly to homeowners

• Complete assigned work safely and with attention to detail

• Keep your company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized

• Document service calls, completed work, and invoices using company-provided technology

• Follow NEC requirements, local electrical codes, and established safety procedures

• Coordinate with other team members when additional electrical or lighting services are needed

• Provide professional service and quality workmanship on every job

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 2 years of electrical trade experience

• Current Journeyman or Wireman license required

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred

• Residential electrical service, repair, wiring, and troubleshooting experience

• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds as required for the job

• Ability to safely use ladders and work in tight or enclosed spaces when needed

• Comfortable using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools

• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and team members

• ServiceTitan experience is a plus but not required

• Schedule flexibility based on customer and business needs
