  • Assess current and future service, fleet and facility requirements through operational reviews, ridership projections, scenario assessments and analysis of bus technologies, fuel types and associated infrastructure needs.
  • Define project scopes, budgets and schedules; lead consultant procurement and contract management; and monitor the quality, progress and delivery of technical work.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical work to ensure plans and designs address operational requirements, applicable legislation, standards and codes, while balancing budget constraints and input from interested parties.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal partners, external agencies and interested parties to resolve complex issues and achieve alignment on infrastructure plans and funding opportunities.
  • Prepare technical reports, recommendations and communication materials, and represent The City at public engagement sessions, technical meetings and industry events.
  • Supervise, coach and mentor junior and intermediate staff, provide technical guidance to project teams, and incorporate operational feedback, performance measures and lessons learned into planning and design practices.
