IT Project Manager II

As a member of an agile development team, under general supervision, this position will plan, track, and report on the progress of technology solutions for Tulane University under the guidance of PM leadership. The position is reliable, works well in a team, completes tasks on time, and shows a desire to learn. Guides the project delivery team on using Agile/Scrum practices throughout the entire project lifecycle to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. Communicates proactively with all involved personnel, identifies problems, create solutions, and implements efficiency improvements. Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution, and provides support to the team by assisting with internal and external communication. Anticipates future project needs by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

 

Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 2 years of technology-related work experience

OR

High School Diploma/Equivalent and 6 years of technology-related work experience
Preferred Qualification:

Knowledge of Agile development principles.


Knowledge of tools to assist with scrum team planning (Jira, Rally/Central Agile, Version1, etc.).
