Lead Java Engineer III

  What you'll do:
 - Build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS EKS
 - Own backend development end-to-end — from design through production deployment
 - Contribute to React/TypeScript UI where needed 
 - Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
 - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives
 - Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team

 Requirements:
 - 3+ years Java development; Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices
 - Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker experience owning deployments
 - AWS experience — EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch at minimum
 - Proven ability to engage and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
 - Agile/Scrum delivery experience in a team environment
 - React and TypeScript — working knowledge sufficient

 Nice to have:
 - AWS certification
 - CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
 - Experience in financial services
 - Kafka or messaging queue exposure
