About the role

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong accounting and computer skills, knowledge of office administrative procedures, and the ability to prepare clear and concise correspondence. Experience processing complex income and expense transactions in a high‑volume environment is essential.

We are seeking a candidate who can work independently as well as collaboratively, exhibits professionalism, and demonstrates accountability and sound judgment.

Typically, the knowledge, competencies, and experience required for this position are obtained through completion of a diploma in accounting or business administration, combined with related accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing pre‑audit functions on client expenditures, including reconciling balance forwards and current charges, and on client income, including reconciling income received with deposits.
  • Processing and recording client expenditures and income.
  • Carrying out administrative duties such as opening, scanning, and distributing mail to staff.
  • Completing bank deposits and updating asset records as required.
  • Reference, interpret, and apply relevant regulations and policies.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, databases, and scanning software.
  • The ability to prepare and compose clear, concise, and professional correspondence.
  • Experience processing complex income and expense transactions in a high‑volume environment.
  • Knowledge of referencing, interpreting and applying relevant regulations and policies.
