Crane Operator (Indoor Lower Head Crane)

SUMMARY

BLUvera is currently seeking a Crane Operator responsible for safely operating cranes as directed and in accordance with established procedures. This role will follow all applicable safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures while supporting safe, efficient operations on the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a variety of cranes in accordance with prescribed safety regulations and operating procedures.
• Maintain assigned work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Monitor equipment during operation to identify potential malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Follow established work plans and pre-task planning requirements.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related trade experience specific to the position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to safely operate cranes, including moving levers, shifting gears, depressing pedals, and maneuvering steering controls.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge of cranes, their operation, and appropriate uses.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong teamwork orientation and a positive attitude.
• Professional customer service, active listening, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and be open to diverse perspectives, input, and feedback.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.*

*Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling more than 50 lbs. will be performed with assistance from another team member or appropriate equipment.

The base pay range for this role is: $24.92 - $34.84 per hour.
