Shift: 4/12-3/12 Rotating weeklyy schedule. 7 PM to 7 AM (or) 7 AM to 7 PM. May be assigned to night shift or day shift based on unionized seniority.

I. Job Summary

Perform diagnostic evaluation on equipment and make repairs when needed. Ensure that repairs are performed in the shortest amount of time possible to alleviate down time. 

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Performs preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance daily on a variety of machinery within the plant.
• Performs maintenance on bearings, drive chains, and conveyor systems, when needed.
• Perform light electrical maintenance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on various hydraulic units located throughout the plant.
• Perform various fabrications through welding, arc cutting, and plasma cutting, when needed.
• Perform any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy and efficient facility and vigorously support WMHS’s commitment to Safety.
• Document results through completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required.
• Welding (arch and MIG welding), ability to rebuild centrifugal & diaphragm pumps, must know hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Perform other duties & responsibilities, as needed.

A. Required Qualifications  

• Associate's Degree (accredited) or equivalent.
• 4 years of related experience and/or training, demonstrating the ability to identify and perform repairs that are needed and to assure scheduled production run.

B. Preferred Qualifications 

• Valid 433A Millwright Certification.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, troubleshooting ability in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, experience welding and fabrication.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting.

Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.

This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Pay: The expected base pay rate for this office/on-site position is CAD $43.55 per hour. This rate represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
