Pay: $25.00 per hour 
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Location: New Haven, CT, USA

Qualifications & Competencies
•    Possession of a valid Connecticut State Guard Card.
•    Prior security experience required; military or law enforcement experience may be considered in lieu of traditional security experience.
•    Demonstrates a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor in all situations.
•    Dependable, self-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
•    Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
•    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•    Strong customer service focus with a results-oriented mindset.
•    Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage daily responsibilities effectively.
•    Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, customers, and individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
•    Proficient in computer applications and experienced with security technologies, surveillance systems, and AI-powered tools.

The Receptionist Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control, and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Receptionist Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

The Security Officer serves as the primary customer-facing representative for the client, providing support and guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors regarding facility access, badge eligibility, onboarding processes, security procedures, and related inquiries. This role supports Global Security operations through ID badge administration, Learning Management System (LMS) oversight, new hire orientation support, and service ticket management.

In addition to core security responsibilities, this position contributes to operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements through artificial intelligence, automation tools, and emerging technologies. The Security Officer also supports Global Security leadership with administrative, operational, and customer service initiatives while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
