Lead Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer

This position is ideal for an experienced data center architect who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges across sites, campuses, and colocation facilities. You will play a pivotal role in enabling high-density AI deployments through thoughtful site selection, capacity planning, power and cooling design, connectivity planning, and multi-site readiness assessments. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Strong knowledge of modern data center and campus architecture, including power, cooling, networking, storage connectivity, physical infrastructure, colocation considerations, and operational resiliency. 

• Experience developing AI infrastructure deployment strategies across sites, campuses, or colocation environments. 

• Ability to evaluate site and data-hall constraints, including physical layout, rack placement, power availability, cooling capacity, density limits, and serviceability. 

• Experience with capacity planning and rack-power modeling for high-density AI infrastructure. 

• Strong understanding of high-performance networking, scale-out connectivity, and storage-related network demand for AI environments. 

• Ability to develop flexible infrastructure options and late-binding strategies as technology, capacity, and customer requirements evolve. 

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate architectural decisions, deployment risks, customer commitments, and tradeoffs to technical and executive stakeholders. 

• Ability to coordinate effectively across facilities, network, storage, colocation, hardware, software, and business teams. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 8+ years of experience in data center architecture, infrastructure engineering, capacity planning, or large-scale cloud infrastructure deployment. 

• Experience with AI labs, high-density AI infrastructure, HPC environments, or large-scale cloud campuses. 

• Experience with site selection, colocation evaluation, campus planning, and data-hall layout optimization. 

• Experience with power and cooling design, power capping, thermal assessment, densification, and infrastructure lifecycle planning. 

• Experience evaluating multi-site deployment readiness and managing platform or capacity pivots. 

• Familiarity with accelerator platform requirements and their implications for power, cooling, networking, storage, and facility design.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
