Essential Functions and Primary Duties

Responsible for all cash related reconciliations, including, but not limited to, local cash, consolidated cash, and payroll cash
Responsible for booking all corporate cash transactions – going through corporate cash accounts
Responsible for the accounting of certain CBIZ compensation and retention programs.
Responsible for preparing quarterly bank certificate associated with our debt. Establish productive relationships with other team members and departments involved in this process to ensure timely completion
Conduct quarterly internal financial reporting surveys
Responsible for completing relevant government statutory surveys such as reporting to US Census Bureau
Responsible for recording / consolidating of the results of Captive Insurance Company
Responsible for the review of the following:
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Areas in the public filings as assigned
- SOX control testing review as assigned, including review of certain applicable SOC reports
Serve as a liaison between corporate finance and other corporate functional departments to promote collaboration and communications

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

3 years of experience as a subject matter expert
Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
Effective customer service skills
Proficient use of applicable technology
Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
