Position Summary

The Welder/Grinder performs skilled welding and grinding work on stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to quality, and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld and grind stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metal components.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Operate an overhead crane to move materials as needed.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws.
• Read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Use basic math and geometry to complete work accurately.
• Perform other duties as required to support production.

Requirements

• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Professional welding certification is a plus.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet fast-paced project demands.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a dependable, self-driven work ethic.
