Pay: Starts at $24.00/hr, higher rates available based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Painter to prepare and paint overhead cranes and manufactured components using a variety of industrial coating systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial painting processes, airless spray systems, and working safely in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work areas prior to painting operations.
• Prepare components for painting, including blowing off surfaces, taping, and masking.
• Apply industrial coatings using airless spray systems.
• Work with industrial paint systems including:
• Enamel
• Zinc
• Epoxy
• Urethane
• Measure coating thickness using dry and wet film gauges.
• Maintain quality standards and safe work practices.
• Report to work on time and maintain reliable attendance.
• Work 10-hour shifts and Saturdays as required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with airless spray painting systems required.
• Knowledge of industrial coating systems required.
• Experience using dry and wet film paint gauges.
• Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Employment Details

• Potential temp-to-hire opportunity after 90 days.
• $1.00/hour shift differential available upon becoming a full-time employee.
