In this role, you’ll use PDI software and data to help customers maintain appropriate fuel inventory levels, coordinate fuel deliveries, reconcile transactions, resolve invoice discrepancies, and support accurate fuel accounting. You’ll work closely with customers, fuel suppliers, carriers, and internal PDI teams to keep fuel operations running efficiently and accurately.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fuel operations, dispatch, logistics, bookkeeping, accounting, or high-volume data processing who enjoys solving problems, working with numbers, and providing excellent customer service.
What you'll do

- Monitor market conditions and adjust delivery timing when appropriate to help balance customer fuel needs and purchasing opportunities.
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage fuel deliveries to customer locations.
- Build strong working relationships with fuel suppliers and carriers.
- Respond to customer calls, emails, and service requests in a professional, helpful, and timely manner.
- Identify and resolve customer issues or coordinate with the appropriate internal team when additional support is needed.
- Keep customers informed throughout the resolution process.
- Review vendor invoice exceptions, correct errors, and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies or dispute invoices on behalf of customers.
- Process and reconcile fuel transactions (purchases, deliveries, and sales) across multiple systems and investigate discrepancies.
- Track fuel inventory, costs, pricing, and volumes to support accurate reporting and margin analysis.
- Prepare and manage customer statements while maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
- Partner with Accounting, Reconciliation, and other internal teams on reporting and analysis that helps customers make informed decisions.
