Role Overview

As a Business Systems Developer III, you will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting scalable business applications across the enterprise. This role requires strong hands-on .NET/C# development experience, with additional experience developing within Salesforce. You will build and enhance applications and integrations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and partner directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. You will also provide technical guidance to other team members and help establish development standards that support scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support enterprise applications using .NET/C# and related technologies.
• Develop and enhance Salesforce solutions using technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and Salesforce APIs.
• Design and develop integrations between business systems, including Salesforce, ERP platforms, data warehouses, marketing platforms, and third-party SaaS applications.
• Build and maintain APIs and integration services using REST/SOAP and other appropriate integration patterns.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production support across applications and integrations.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, estimate effort, and prioritize enhancements.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, reusable code, testing, and technical documentation.
• Support DevOps processes, version control, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment automation.
• Ensure applications and integrations meet appropriate standards for performance, security, scalability, reliability, and data quality.
• Contribute to development standards, coding practices, architecture decisions, and technical governance.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other developers and team members.
• Support broader business initiatives, including process optimization, system integrations, mergers and acquisitions, and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience developing applications using .NET and C#.
• Experience with ASP.NET/.NET Core, object-oriented programming, APIs, and modern application development practices.
• Hands-on development experience within Salesforce, using one or more technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, Flow, or Salesforce APIs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce and/or other enterprise applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, or event-driven integration approaches.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with DevOps tools, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to independently own technical solutions from requirements and design through development, deployment, and production support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and managing multiple priorities.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or other Salesforce certifications are preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite, ERP integrations, Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or similar enterprise platforms is preferred.
