Product Developer

Core Purpose & Duties

Develop, support, and maintain core Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) enterprise software suites. Write and maintain clean, efficient code using programming languages such as MS C# .NET. Participate as an active member of the technical team in diverse software implementation activities, provide end-user technical and production support, deliver training, and develop/maintain the core library of CADD resource standards.

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities

• End-User Support: Provide technical and production support to internal engineering teams and external consultants for OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and Bentley Geopak software environments.

• Project Delivery: Serve as a Project Delivery (Quality Control & Validation) specialist to ensure compliance with design standards.

• CADD Resource Creation: Create, test, and maintain shared CADD workspaces, configurations, and core resources.

• System Administration: Act as the primary technical administrator for the CADD Support ticketing and service management platform.

• Inter-office Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional design departments to support ad-hoc CADD needs, including the preparation of layout exhibits and technical graphics.

• Training & Community Outreach: Assist with technical webinars, deliver professional training sessions, and present software solutions at industry user group events.
