Schedule: O&M Maintenance Electrician
Pay Rate: $40.00 - Temporary $10 retention incentive will be added to hourly wage
Onsite Location: Boise, ID
Position Type: Hourly Shift: M-TH (6:00am-4:30pm) 30m lunch

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of site electrical systems and equipment, including chillers, MCC panels, VFDs, motors, switchgear, breakers, UPS systems, and batteries.
• Service and support medium-voltage and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment to ensure reliable facility operations.
• Identify and recommend preventive maintenance improvements and solutions for non-routine equipment issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve equipment and process problems while maximizing system reliability and stability.
• Participate in team meetings and provide technical input and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate shift pass-down communication and document current work status.
• Monitor, analyze, and address operational process issues during each shift, escalating concerns as needed.
• Provide timely technical support to resolve equipment failures and minimize downtime.
• Assist with the installation, modification, relocation, and removal of facility equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance (PM) activities and work orders thoroughly, accurately, and on schedule.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives within the assigned area.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facility electrical and mechanical systems.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing job responsibilities and shift schedules.
• Strong time management, organizational, and task prioritization skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven teamwork, collaboration, and stakeholder partnership abilities.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and self-improvement.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and work-related calculations accurately.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must successfully complete and pass an audiology (hearing) assessment.

Physical Effort/Activities: 
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
