This role requires technical troubleshooting across unclassified and classified networks (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS), specialized SCIF multimedia hardware maintenance, secure account lifecycle management, and formal designation as a DIA JCITA Trusted Agent for secure cross-domain data transfers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the dedicated physical first responder to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and audio-visual issues in classroom and auditorium environments.

  • Support student and instructor account administration and system profile setups in close coordination with JCITA Security Specialists.

  • Operate within DIA Help Desk guidelines to log, prioritize, track, and close out incident tickets to full technical resolution.

  • Perform physical installation, cable dressing, relocation, teardown, and replacement of IT systems, monitors, projection rigs, and specialized classroom AV hardware.

  • Serve as a designated DIA JCITA Trusted Agent for secure cross-domain data transfers, strictly enforcing information security policies and sanitization protocols.

  • Support the development and review of technical documentation, software implementation plans, and System Security Plans (SSPs) in accordance with DIA directives.

  • Maintain operational readiness across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS workstations, peripheral digital senders, and secure printers within SCIF spaces.

Required Minimum Qualifications (Hard Contractual Baselines)

  • Security Clearance: Must hold an active, verified Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance at the time of proposal and award.

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a directly related technical field.

  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of practical, hands-on experience troubleshooting enterprise IT hardware, software systems, and integrated audio-visual equipment.

  • Trusted Agent Capability: Must be eligible and capable of serving as a DIA JCITA Trusted Agent for secure cross-domain file transfers.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Expert understanding of DIA IT directives, security configuration standards, and physical SCIF handling rules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or higher).

  • Hands-on experience with Extron, Crestron, AMX, or Biamp integrated classroom AV distribution systems and video matrix switchers.

  • Experience supporting secure training labs, SCIF environments, and JWICS/SIPRNet user hardware.
