ABOUT THE POSITION

Stratagen is seeking Data Integration Specialists at the Junior, Mid-Level, and Senior levels to support a federal program within the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division (contingent upon award).

Data Integration Specialists will support the development, enhancement, and sustainment of data integration solutions. The role focuses on ETL development, data transformation, vendor integrations, secure data exchange, troubleshooting, and the use of automated tools to improve data integration processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex data environments and be comfortable troubleshooting integrations across applications, databases, web services, and secure file transfer systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop, enhance, and maintain data integration solutions and automated integration tools.

• Work with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) technologies and vendor integration solutions.

• Develop and modify data integration processes to support new and existing systems.

• Troubleshoot Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) connections and data transfer issues.

• Support data mapping, transformation, validation, and standardization activities.

• Work with web services using SOAP and REST.

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot code and scripts used in integration solutions.

• Work with relational databases and SQL-based technologies.

• Work with data transformation and schema technologies, including XML, XSLT, XSD, and DTD.

• Support integration testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and issue resolution.

• Apply data standards and validation practices to ensure reliable data exchanges.

• Work with law enforcement data and applicable Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) specifications.

• Follow applicable security policies, regulations, standards, and program requirements.

LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

SENIOR DATA INTEGRATION SPECIALIST

Requires a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in data integration, ETL development, and SFTP troubleshooting.

Senior-level responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing new vendor integration solutions.

• Leading complex data integration efforts.

• Providing technical recommendations and integration strategy.

• Driving improvements and technical innovation across integration processes.

• Mentoring Mid-Level and Junior Data Integration Specialists.

• Troubleshooting complex integration and data exchange issues.

• Providing technical leadership throughout the development and implementation lifecycle.

MID-LEVEL DATA INTEGRATION SPECIALIST

Requires a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with data integration and ETL tools.

Mid-Level responsibilities include:

• Enhancing existing vendor integration solutions.

• Developing and implementing new integration solutions.

• Independently completing moderate-complexity integration tasks.

• Troubleshooting integration and data transfer issues.

• Supporting data mapping, transformation, and validation activities.

• Mentoring Junior Data Integration Specialists as needed.

• Contributing to integration design, testing, documentation, and implementation.

JUNIOR DATA INTEGRATION SPECIALIST

Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in data integration, data processing, or a related field.

Junior-level responsibilities include:

• Applying established vendor integration solutions.

• Performing foundational data integration and processing tasks.

• Assisting with data mapping and transformation activities.

• Supporting basic troubleshooting of integration and SFTP issues.

• Assisting with testing and documentation.

• Supporting Mid-Level and Senior Data Integration Specialists with integration activities.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

An active Top Secret clearance is required for this position. Candidates who do not possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance will not be considered.
