Build More Than a Career. Help Build and Lead ReliaBee Electrical.
At ReliaBee Air, Electric & Plumbing, we're building something different.
We're creating one of San Antonio's premier integrated home services companies—where one trusted team protects a homeowner's heating and cooling, electrical, plumbing, water quality, indoor air quality, and long-term home performance.
We're looking for more than a great electrician. We're looking for our future Electrical Department Manager.
Someone who has mastered residential electrical service, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences, and wants the opportunity to help build and eventually lead a growing department.
This is a hands-on, revenue-producing leadership opportunity. You'll begin by doing what great service electricians do best: diagnosing problems, educating homeowners, presenting solutions, and delivering quality workmanship.
But we're also looking for someone with the ambition and ability to help develop technicians, establish operating standards, improve department performance, and ultimately take ownership of our Electrical Division's growth and profitability.
We're not looking for someone who already has a management title. We're looking for someone who has what it takes to earn one.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
ReliaBee launched Electrical Services in 2025 as part of our expanding HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Home Performance business.
We're now looking for the right individual to help take our Electrical Division to the next level.
You'll work directly with ownership and have a meaningful voice in shaping the department's future, including:
- Department growth and development
- Residential service standards and best practices
- Technician mentoring, training, and development
- Inventory, equipment, and operational improvements
- Customer experience and service quality initiatives
- Department revenue, productivity, and profitability
- Long-term department leadership
This is an opportunity to help build something meaningful while developing your own career and earning potential.
What You'll Do
As our Lead Residential Service Electrician, you'll take ownership of delivering exceptional electrical service while helping establish the foundation for a high-performing department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently diagnosing and troubleshooting residential electrical problems
- Performing electrical panel replacements, service upgrades, circuit repairs, surge protection, EV charger installations, lighting, and other residential electrical work within your license scope
- Educating homeowners about electrical safety, system conditions, and available solutions
- Presenting repair and replacement options clearly, professionally, and honestly
- Building customer confidence and earning business through technical expertise and exceptional service
- Managing service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards for workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Identifying additional electrical safety concerns and opportunities to improve home electrical systems
- Maintaining accurate estimates, job documentation, and customer records using ServiceTitan
- Taking personal responsibility for productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and results
- Contributing ideas and recommendations that help improve our Electrical Division
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license
- Minimum 5 years of electrical field experience, including substantial residential service and troubleshooting experience
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to solve challenging electrical problems independently within applicable licensing requirements
- Experience with residential electrical panels, circuits, service upgrades, troubleshooting, and electrical repairs
- Proven ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and present repair and replacement options
- Understanding of the relationship between exceptional service, customer trust, and revenue production
- Strong personal accountability, organizational skills, and professional appearance
- Commitment to electrical safety, code compliance, and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Especially Valuable
- Experience in residential flat-rate service or performance-based compensation environments
- Demonstrated success generating revenue through customer-focused service recommendations
- Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service software
- Interest in obtaining a Texas Master Electrician license
- Ambition to grow into responsibility for departmental revenue, gross margins, technician performance, customer satisfaction, and team development
Previous management experience is a plus, but leadership potential, technical excellence, and proven service performance matter more.
What You'll Receive
- Target annual earnings of $80,000–$125,000, based on licensing, experience, and performance
- Guaranteed minimum compensation plus performance-based incentives
- Company-provided take-home service vehicle
- Company-provided tools, equipment, and uniforms
- Company iPad with ServiceTitan and modern field service technology
- Paid technical training and manufacturer education
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Aflac supplemental accident coverage
- Paid holidays, vacation, and PTO
- Year-round work with a growing local company
- Direct access to ownership and an opportunity to help shape the future of our Electrical Division
- Career development toward Master Electrician licensing and department leadership
A Real Opportunity for Leadership
Our vision is to develop a strong Electrical Division led by professionals who understand both exceptional customer service and successful business operations.
For the right individual, this position offers a potential career path toward Electrical Department Manager, with increasing responsibility for:
- Building and developing a high-performing electrical service team
- Driving department revenue and profitable growth
- Establishing and maintaining service quality and productivity standards
- Mentoring and developing future technicians
