DELIVER FINANCIAL INSIGHT ACROSS AMARILLO AND WICHITA FALLS
Original Composites & Fiberglass is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial activities for the Amarillo facility while serving as the finance representative and member of the Wichita Falls Leadership Team. Reporting to the Amarillo Plant Controller, this role will deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, internal controls coordination, expenses control and monitoring, as well support with financial analysis for decision making across both locations. The Finance Analyst will partner closely with plant and functional leaders to explain performance, identify risks and opportunities, and convert financial insight into actions that strengthen business results.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with practical plant-finance partnership. This role requires the confidence to own Wichita Falls financial reporting and controls while providing responsive analysis and support to the Amarillo operation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead safe, ethical, and controlled financial practices
• Champion the company’s safety culture and integrate safety considerations into financial and business decisions.
• Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, compliance, and professional judgment.
• Execute effective internal controls, reconciliations, approval processes, and financial documentation for both locations.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, local requirements, and applicable financial standards.
Own Wichita Falls controllership and reporting
• Serve as the finance representative and member of the Wichita Falls Leadership Team, with responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of site financial reporting.
• Lead Wichita Falls month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including accruals preparations, account reconciliations, and variance explanations.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing costs, standard costs, inventory valuation, reserves and controls review for Wichita Falls.
• Provide Wichita Falls leaders with clear financial insight and follow-through on corrective actions to maintain their manufacturing cost targets.
• Coordinate with the Amarillo Plant Controller on accounting judgments, control matters, risks, opportunities, and required escalations.
• Partner with operational teams to identify losses, validate improvement opportunities, and track financial benefits.
• Identify unusual transactions, unfavourable trends, and control gaps, and drive timely investigation and resolution.
• Simplify reporting and analytical routines while preserving accuracy, control, and decision quality.
• Partner with accounting and internal controls teams to ensure financial statement to comply with applicable financial standards.
Support Amarillo financial planning and analysis
• Support the annual operating plan, periodic forecasts, month-end reporting, and long-range financial planning for Amarillo.
• Maintain reports and dashboards that connect financial outcomes with operational performance.
• Assist with recurring and ad hoc analysis related to unit and standard cost, productivity, labour, material usage, operations performance and inventory movements.
• Prepare standard costing for new products and maintain a clean data base of current products to properly evaluate re-costing needs based on true performance and/ or changes, in partnering with technical teams.
• Support to prepare annual standard cost updates, based on performance data and operations plan approved.
• Support monthly inventory counts and external audits requirements in terms of documentation and on-site counts.
• Act as backup for inventory counts, and purchase requisitions release when the controller is out.
Support capital and business decisions
• Prepare financial analysis and business cases for capital projects, operating changes, resource needs, and other site priorities.
• Track capital spending, commitments, forecasts, asset commissioning, and project benefits.
• Maintain accurate fixed-asset records and support appropriate accounting treatment for capital and expense activity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, Human Resources, and regional or corporate Finance partners.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Two or more years progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, financial planning, or manufacturing finance.
• Working knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, forecasting, account reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Ability to independently manage site-level reporting and control responsibilities with appropriate escalation to the Amarillo Plant Controller.
• Experience with standard costing, inventory accounting, capital accounting, and manufacturing performance analysis is preferred.
• Experience using enterprise financial systems and advanced spreadsheet and analytical tools.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across operational and functional teams.

• Active support during monthly counts, planning and audit seasons to Amarillo’s controller.
