Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse / ETL Developer with expertise in Informatica PowerCenter to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate data integration.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.- Extract data from heterogeneous source systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, flat files, SAP) and load into target data warehouse environments.- Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient ETL solutions.- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to ensure data quality and integrity.- Maintain ETL documentation, including data flow diagrams, technical specifications, and process design documents.- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and UAT support.- Monitor ETL jobs and workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.- Provide production support and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. Summary: The Senior Business Analyst will support the operations of the Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This role is responsible for working with Medicaid program stakeholders, technical teams, and data architects to translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications supporting data integration, analytics, and reporting across Medicaid systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business requirements for Medicaid data warehouse initiatives.- Translate Medicaid program requirements into functional specifications for ETL processes, data models, and reporting solutions.- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions with program staff, policy teams, and technical teams.- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and user stories.- Analyze Medicaid data from various source systems including claims processing systems, provider enrollment systems, member eligibility systems, managed care encounter data, and financial and payment systems.- Interpret Medicaid program rules, regulatory requirements, and reporting obligations.- Ensure alignment with federal and state reporting requirements.- Collaborate with data architects and ETL developers to define source-to-target mappings, data transformation rules, and data quality requirements.- Assist in defining KPIs, dashboards, and analytic datasets.- Develop test scenarios and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).- Validate ETL outputs, data transformations, and reporting results.- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Medicaid program teams, and technical development teams. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for EDW change requests, enhancements, defect fixes, and releases.- Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, including validation from source systems through staging, operational data stores, dimensional models, fact tables, and reporting layers.- Validate source-to-target mappings and confirm that transformation and business rules are implemented correctly.- Perform data reconciliation using SQL to compare source and target record counts, totals, key data elements, and transformation results.- Validate data completeness, accuracy, consistency, referential integrity, and duplicate handling.- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and production-validation testing.- Test Informatica workflows, mappings, sessions, dependencies, and batch-processing results.- Validate database changes, including tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, and data-model modifications.- Verify reporting and analytics outputs in tools such as Cognos and Tableau against underlying EDW data.- Develop reusable regression test suites for critical EDW processing.- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution and retesting.- Provide clear evidence supporting test results and release readiness.- Participate in requirements and technical-design reviews to identify testability issues and potential defects early in the development lifecycle.- Work with development teams to perform root-cause analysis of data discrepancies and processing failures.- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting business users with test scenarios, test data, and defect analysis.- Participate in release-readiness reviews and provide QA status, outstanding defects, risks, and recommendations.- Perform post-deployment
