Senior Application Programmer - Active Secret

Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
- Development, modification, maintenance, and testing of information systems, subsystems, and databases
- Support for management, stakeholder, customer, developer, and end-user meetings
- Participation in change management sessions
- Customer support and documentation support
- Infrastructure support, development support, and functional testing
- Review and analysis of project management plans
- Designing, developing, and supporting web services and re-engineered components based on business needs and priorities
- Establishing standards and guidelines for web service development and usage
- Strong programming skills
- HTTPS/SOAP/RESTful web services development
- XML/JSON/XSLT development
- Systems documentation and unit test plan development
- Peer reviews, configuration management, and change control processes
- RDBMS and database normalization
- Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Code compilation, error correction, defect support, retesting, and technical troubleshooting
- Risk identification and contingency planning
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with DevOps, JIRA, and Phire is preferred
- Experience with Human Resources application environments is strongly preferred
- PeopleSoft, Oracle, SQL Server, Java, .NET/ASP, ColdFusion, Visual Basic, or similar experience is preferred
- Federal IT, cleared environment, RMF/FISMA, or secure operations experience is preferred
