About the role
Our client based in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for Autonomous Vehicle Technician for 12 months Contract @$35/hr
Given below are the job details
Top 3 Responsibilities
Vehicle Readiness & Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections, sensor cleaning, basic upkeep, cable/connector checks, and documented component swaps.
Sensor Calibration & Validation: Execute SOP-driven sensor calibration and alignment, run prescribed validation checks, and document results.
Fleet Operations & Basic Linux: Prepare vehicles, execute prescribed Linux commands (SSH/SCP), maintain tracking records, and escalate failed calibrations or unexpected issues
Mandatory Requirements
Technical Aptitude: Basic mechanical/electronics aptitude, computer proficiency, and ability to accurately follow technical SOPs.
Basic Linux Competency: Familiarity with SSH, SCP, file navigation, and executing documented commands. Advanced
troubleshooting is not required.
General Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, strong attention to detail, and clear communication.
Desired Skills
Direct AV / ADAS Experience: Prior experience in autonomous vehicle (AV) fleet upkeep, depot operations, or ADAS system maintenance.
Sensor Calibration Workflows: Hands-on experience with LiDAR, Radar, Camera, and GPS/IMU calibration, including chart/target alignment routines.
Basic Script Reading: Ability to read and interpret basic Bash or Python scripts to troubleshoot script execution failures.
SOP Auditing & Leadership: Ability to audit existing SOPs, serve as a local escalation point, and assist with onboarding new technicians
