ENGINEER IV – SYSTEMS ENGINEER

OVERVIEW
Integrity Communications Solutions (Integrity) is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer IV (SE IV) to support a Department of Defense (DoD) satellite communications (SATCOM) ground and system-of-systems development program.
The selected candidate will support multidisciplinary systems engineering activities across one or more technical areas, which may include system-of-systems engineering, Ground Segment engineering, requirements development and management, architecture and interface definition, integration and verification, test engineering, digital engineering, cybersecurity engineering, configuration and data management, risk management, or technical planning and documentation.
SE IV engineers are expected to take ownership of defined engineering scope and drive work through completion, coordinating across technical disciplines and resolving issues and dependencies within their area of responsibility. Assignments may involve ownership of a feature, workflow, subsystem, engineering product, verification area, or other defined technical problem space.
Engineers may support either System-of-Systems Integration (SoSI) or Ground Integration (GI) activities depending on individual experience, strengths, interests, and program needs. Work may span system-level, segment-level, element-level, or component-level engineering and typically requires coordination with systems engineers, software developers, test engineers, cybersecurity engineers, digital engineering personnel, operators, and other technical stakeholders.
Candidates are not expected to have experience in every technical area listed. Integrity is seeking experienced engineers with demonstrated capability in one or more systems engineering disciplines who can independently own technical work, coordinate across teams, and contribute to delivery of mission-critical capabilities supporting the warfighter.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
6+ years of relevant systems engineering, integration, verification, test, software, digital engineering, cybersecurity, operations, or related technical experience
Relevant experience in systems engineering, integration, verification, test, software, digital engineering, cybersecurity, operations, or a related technical discipline
Demonstrated experience independently owning and completing defined engineering work
Experience applying systems engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements development, architecture, integration, verification, validation, and configuration management
Experience developing, reviewing, maintaining, or coordinating technical requirements, engineering documentation, test products, interface documentation, models, or other systems engineering artifacts
Ability to identify technical issues, assess impacts and dependencies, and drive issues toward resolution within assigned scope
Experience coordinating technical work across multiple disciplines or teams
Ability to communicate technical issues, risks, recommendations, and status effectively to technical and program stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills
Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain required program access

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting DoD, Space, SATCOM, Ground Segment, or other complex mission systems
Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
Experience with architecture or modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
Experience with interface specifications, APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, or ICD development
Experience supporting system integration, verification, validation, or test activities
Experience developing or overseeing automated test activities using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, pytest, or similar frameworks
Experience coordinating work across multiple engineering teams or technical disciplines
Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development environments
Experience contributing to technical reviews or baseline activities such as System Requirements Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), or Program Engineering Review Board (PERB)
Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering or secure-system development
Familiarity with configuration management, data management, or technical risk management processes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on assignment, responsibilities may include:

Own defined engineering scope, such as a feature, workflow, subsystem, engineering product, verification area, or technical problem
Drive assigned engineering work from planning through completion while maintaining technical quality, schedule awareness, and coordination with dependent activities
Develop, analyze, refine, and maintain system, segment, element, or component requirements
Ensure appropriate traceability between requirements, architecture, interfaces, implementation, and verification products
Develop and maintain system architecture, engineering models, interface definitions, ICDs, APIs, and related technical artifacts
Develop or coordinate system, segment, or element integration and verification approaches
Develop and review test cases, test procedures, verification methods, and associated engineering documentation
Evaluate verification coverage, identify gaps, and coordinate resolution within assigned scope
Analyze integration, verification, or test results and drive resolution of identified technical issues
Support development and maintenance of systems engineering plans, technical processes, and engineering baselines
Proactively identify technical risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities and coordinate appropriate resolution or mitigation
Coordinate engineering activities across teams and technical disciplines to resolve dependencies and maintain delivery alignment
Support configuration management and data management activities associated with engineering products
Contribute to digital engineering or modeling activities, as applicable to assigned work
Contribute technical content to program reviews, engineering review boards, verification packages, and other technical baseline activities
Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, backlog refinement, dependency identification, and other Agile planning and execution activities
Coordinate inputs and actions within technical working groups and cross-functional engineering forums
Provide regular technical status and communicate risks, blockers, dependencies, and recommended actions to appropriate stakeholders
Support and mentor less experienced engineers within areas of technical knowledge, as appropriate

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range: $115,000-$135,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
