ENGINEER V – SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

OVERVIEW
Integrity Communications Solutions (Integrity) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer V (SE V) to support a Department of Defense (DoD) satellite communications (SATCOM) ground and system-of-systems development program.
The selected candidate will support complex multidisciplinary systems engineering activities across one or more technical areas, which may include system-of-systems engineering, Ground Segment engineering, requirements development and management, architecture and interface definition, integration and verification, test engineering, digital engineering, cybersecurity engineering, configuration and data management, risk management, or technical planning and documentation.
SE V engineers are expected to operate with a high degree of independence and take ownership of complex technical problem spaces that span multiple teams, disciplines, or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). They are expected to integrate technical inputs, coordinate resolution of cross-functional issues, anticipate risks and dependencies, and contribute to engineering outcomes that extend beyond an individual team or subsystem.
Engineers may support either System-of-Systems Integration (SoSI) or Ground Integration (GI) activities depending on individual experience, strengths, interests, and program needs. Work may span system-level, segment-level, element-level, or component-level engineering and will frequently require coordination across multiple technical organizations and engineering disciplines.
Candidates are not expected to have experience in every technical area listed. Integrity is seeking senior engineers with demonstrated depth in one or more systems engineering disciplines who can integrate technical work across teams, influence engineering outcomes, and contribute to delivery of mission-critical capabilities supporting the warfighter.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
10+ years of relevant systems engineering, integration, verification, test, software, digital engineering, cybersecurity, operations, or related technical experience
Significant experience in systems engineering, integration, verification, test, software, digital engineering, cybersecurity, operations, or a related technical discipline
Demonstrated experience owning and resolving complex technical problem spaces
Experience integrating engineering activities across multiple teams, disciplines, or technical organizations
Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements development, architecture, integration, verification, validation, configuration management, and technical risk management
Experience developing, reviewing, integrating, or overseeing technical requirements, architectures, verification products, interface documentation, models, test artifacts, or other systems engineering products
Demonstrated ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, and integration issues and drive coordinated resolution
Experience providing technical direction, coordination, or mentoring to other engineers without relying on formal supervisory authority
Ability to communicate complex technical issues, risks, recommendations, and tradeoffs to technical, program, and customer stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills
Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain required program access

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting DoD, Space, SATCOM, Ground Segment, or other complex mission systems
Experience integrating technical efforts across multiple engineering organizations or IPTs
Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
Experience with architecture or modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
Experience with interface specifications, APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, or ICD development
Significant experience supporting system integration, verification, validation, or test activities
Experience developing or shaping test and verification strategies for complex systems
Experience with automated test frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, pytest, or similar technologies
Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development environments
Experience supporting or contributing to technical reviews and baseline activities such as System Requirements Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), or Program Engineering Review Board (PERB)
Experience developing or improving engineering processes, technical standards, or repeatable workflows
Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering or secure-system development
Familiarity with configuration management, data management, or technical risk management processes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on assignment, responsibilities may include:

Own and drive resolution of complex system, segment, integration, verification, or engineering problem spaces
Integrate technical work across multiple teams, disciplines, or IPTs to achieve coordinated engineering outcomes
Develop, analyze, refine, and influence system, segment, element, or component requirements
Ensure consistency and traceability across requirements, architecture, interfaces, implementation, and verification products
Develop, review, and integrate system architecture, engineering models, interface definitions, ICDs, APIs, and related technical products
Define or shape system, segment, or element integration and verification approaches
Develop or influence test and verification strategies, coverage, methods, and acceptance criteria
Evaluate cross-team verification coverage, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and drive resolution
Analyze complex integration, verification, or test results and coordinate resolution of technical discrepancies
Lead or coordinate development of systems engineering plans, technical processes, engineering baselines, and program-critical artifacts
Anticipate technical risks, integration challenges, and dependencies and drive mitigation before they impact program execution
Coordinate across engineering teams and technical organizations to resolve cross-functional issues and maintain alignment
Contribute to development and improvement of repeatable engineering processes, methods, and standards used across teams
Support configuration management, data management, and technical baseline activities
Provide senior technical input to engineering reviews, review boards, verification packages, and technical baseline decisions
Support Program Increment (PI) Planning, dependency management, backlog development, and alignment of technical priorities
Lead or facilitate technical working groups, coordination activities, and engineering discussions as appropriate
Mentor less-experienced engineers and support development of technical capability within the team
Provide technical recommendations, risk assessments, and status to program leadership and customer stakeholders
Support resolution of program-level integration, requirements, verification, or execution issues within assigned technical scope

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
