About the role

Role: FCS Integration Developer

Client: Utility Client, Liberty.
Work mode: Remote.
Start date: 10/26/2026 (Mon).
Duration: 3+ months, subject to the outcome of the project.
Immigration category: US citizen, green card, H1-B.
  • Project Overview:
    • Liberty Utilities uses the Itron Field Collection System (FCS) to support its field meter-reading operations, leveraging FC300 handheld devices and Itron MC3/MC4 Toughbooks used by field personnel. The current landscape includes FCS 4.3.0 for NY Water and FCS 4.5.3 for Liberty.
    • The existing FCS-to-SAP integration will continue to be supported through DFS and MoveIT sFTP, ensuring the exchange of meter-reading information between the Field Collection System (FCS) and the SAP billing landscape.
    • From a business-process perspective, SAP initiates meter-reading requirements based on the billing cycle. Field personnel perform the required electricity/water meter-reading activities using the field collection devices, with the collected readings subsequently transferred through FCS and made available to SAP for downstream billing processing.

Job Description:
  • Responsible for developing the interface between FCS and SAP billing system.
  • Key Responsibilities: FCS-side interface development, mapping and unit testing.
  • Must Have Skills: Hands-on interface development and integration experience, preferably involving Itron FCS or a comparable field collection system and enterprise applications such as SAP.
  • Pay Rate: $70/hr
