Position: Data Scientist (Job No. 793312)

Location: Milpitas, CA (This position is eligible for 100% remote work, from anywhere in the United States, reporting to the company headquarters at 1601 McCarthy Blvd, Suite R-5, Milpitas, CA 95035)

Duration: Full-time, regular employment: 40 hrs./wk. (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Rate: at least $168,917 per year.

Job Duties:

Build and implement artificial intelligence and machine learning models and software frameworks such as predictive models, multi-touch attribution models, uplift models, personalization models, reinforcement learning models, and natural language processing tools to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
Utilize software languages and frameworks such as Python, C++, SQL, BigQuery, PyTorch, etc.
Build data pipelines for model development, including gathering and building datasets, cleaning messy data, identifying assumptions, and designing feedback loops on data needs with a focus on big data.
Build business intelligence dashboards using software frameworks such as Tableau for internal leaders and stakeholders to track key performance indicators and make strategic decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline and maintain data science solutions.
Assist senior strategy analysts and senior data scientists in the project management of strategic initiatives.
Work in an agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other data scientists, engineers, and database administrators of all backgrounds and disciplines to bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of predicting behaviors of various machine learning and artificial intelligence models.
Write and develop comprehensive and accurate model development documentation. It also involves creating presentations and financial models to communicate new strategic ideas for internal departments.
Explain complex modeling approaches in simple terms to technical as well as non-technical stakeholders and develop compelling narratives that connect modeling results with business problems.
Solve analytical problems and effectively communicate methodologies and results both in writing and verbally.

Requirements:
Position requires, at minimum, a U.S. Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics & Autonomous Systems, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
