Key Responsibilities
As a Taper/Painter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished surfaces.  Responsibilities may include:
  • Taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall
  • Preparing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting
  • Applying primer, paint, and other finishes
  • Performing touch-ups and finish work
  • Identifying and correcting surface imperfections
  • Misc. other construction tasks when needed
  • Protecting adjacent surfaces and maintaining a clean work area
  • Working safely and efficiently alongside other trades
  • Maintaining a high standard of quality and craftsmanship
Skills -Education - Experience
  • Previous professional painting and/or drywall finishing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, surface preparation, and painting techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and equipment
  • Valid driver’s license to travel to various commercial construction project locations
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $26 - $36/hour - This position is eligible for additional compensation through our quarterly bonus program equivalent to $1 – $3 an hour in addition to wages worked in previous quarter.
