What Success Looks Like
During the first 6 months, you will:
- Build trusted relationships with customers, project teams, and engineering peers.
- Assume ownership of customer environments and defined technical solution areas.
- Contribute to cloud architecture, automation, and modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrate technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, and complex problem-solving.
During months 6 through 18, you will:
- Lead complex cloud, platform, and modernization initiatives, exercising broad judgment in determining technical approaches and implementation strategies.
- Deliver measurable improvements in reliability, automation, security, and operational maturity while contributing to engineering best practices across projects.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and teammates, sharing knowledge, mentoring engineers, and helping teams navigate complex technical challenges.
Longer term, you will strengthen engineering maturity, enable customer success, develop future technical leaders, and help shape CloudFit service engineering practices.
What We're Looking For

- Strong experience designing and operating Azure environments, with familiarity across AWS or hybrid architectures.
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code, including Bicep, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Experience administering Kubernetes and deploying applications using modern GitOps and DevOps practices, including CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience with enterprise cloud networking, governance, security, identity, Linux or Windows administration, and Git workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, mentor engineers, and influence team-level engineering decisions.
- Strong judgment and communication skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience writing production-ready scripts or code in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a similar language.
Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Azure certification, or comparable cloud certification. These credentials are valued but not required.
