Position Overview

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an AJO Technical Account Manager to help large enterprise customers successfully implement, operate, and scale Adobe Experience Cloud solutions. This role builds and maintains strong customer relationships while providing the technical leadership needed to maintain operational health, navigate complex implementations, and adopt new capabilities.

For this role, we are specifically seeking deep, hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) expertise. The ideal candidate has real implementation experience with AJO and can operate at the technical level with customer and partner teams as well as Adobe Product Engineering. Strong candidates may not check every box below, but AJO experience itself is not negotiable.

This person must be comfortable understanding solution architecture and data design, troubleshooting complex implementations, reviewing logs and other technical artifacts with Engineering, identifying potential root causes and edge cases, and driving issues through validation and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a central technical point of contact across the customer, implementation partner, Adobe Customer Success, and Product Engineering.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex AJO implementations, migrations, integrations, and production deployments.
• Understand and evaluate AJO/AEP architecture and data design, including schemas, datasets, identities, profiles, events, audiences, journeys, channels, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues using available logs, diagnostics, API requests and responses, payloads, configuration, and other technical artifacts.
• Work directly with Product Engineering to investigate issues, understand findings, validate behavior, and translate Engineering guidance into actionable next steps for customers and partners.
• Coordinate end-to-end integration, testing, debugging, and production validation across Adobe, customer, partner, and third-party systems.
• Identify technical risks, edge cases, integration dependencies, and failure scenarios before they become production issues.
• Lead customers and partners through complex environment changes, upgrades, feature rollouts, and stabilization.
• Drive technical critical issues and escalations while ensuring clear ownership, communication, and follow-through across teams.
• Maintain regular communication with technical and executive stakeholders and participate in customer check-ins and quarterly business reviews.
   

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer implementation experience. This is required and non-negotiable.
• At least seven years of experience in technical consulting, implementation, architecture, engineering, or a related technical role.
• Ability to investigate complex technical issues using logs, diagnostics, APIs, payloads, and other technical evidence. This is a core skill the role requires.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, web services, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams and/or customer and partner technical teams on implementation, integration, or production issues.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both engineers and business or executive stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
   

Preferred Qualifications/Education

• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) concepts such as schemas, datasets, identity, profiles, and events. Deep AEP expertise is a plus but not mandatory if AJO experience is strong.
   

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $165,000-$200,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
